STEP 1
Sweet potatoes and taro are first peeled, cut into pieces and steamed until cooked. Then mash the sweet potatoes into a puree. Add 20g of sugar and mix well while it is still hot. Add sieved sweet potato powder in two times and mix well. Knead the sweet potato dough. For the steamed taro, mash it in the same way, add 10g of sugar and unsalted butter and knead well for later use.
TIPS: The amount of powder can be increased or decreased depending on the wetness of the dough.
STEP 2
Take an appropriate amount of sweet potato dough, knead it into a ball, flatten it, wrap it in a little taro paste and knead it into a ball shape.
STEP 3
Cook brown sugar and ginger slices to make brown sugar ginger soup. After the water boils, add sweet potato balls with mashed taro and cook until they float.
